YORKTOWN, Va. - A Yorktown winery is bringing a taste testing event to the community that is COVID-19 safe.
This Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Vintner's Cellar Winery of Yorktown will host a "quick and casual" wine tasting. The winery is located in the Kiln Creek Shopping Center at 1213 George Washington Memorial Hwy Suite C.
The winery will host two 45 minute wine tastings with 6 tables for up to 4 people available for seating. The tasting start at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per person and tables must be reserved by messaging their Facebook. The winery tells News 3 tickets are selling fast, but they will be hosting another "quick and casual" wine tasting next Saturday, Feb. 27.
The winery says they are currently not selling or serving wine by the glass, but will have bottles for sale and several promotions for those that are tasting.
Masks are required to enter and must be worn when you are not actively tasting. The winery says they will be following all spacing guidelines for their space and all other regulations.
