Student arrested after bomb threat at Lakeland high School, all clear given

SUFFOLK, Va. - A student has been arrested for threatening to bomb the school.

Lakeland High School was evacuated after authorities received reports of a bomb threat Monday morning March 21, 2022.

Emergency Communications was notified of the incident by a school administrator at 10:54 a.m.

This comes nearly a week after the school was placed on lockdown due to multiple fights.

Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue were on the scene at Lakeland High School investigating.

The all clear was given and students and teachers have returned to the classroom.

This incident remains under investigation.
