16-year-old girl missing from Norfolk Social Services since July, Portsmouth detectives say

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department are asking for the public's help in finding a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since late July.

Authorities say Kennedy Deyke has been missing from the custody of Norfolk Social Services since July 24. She was last seen in the Ocean View area of Norfolk. Officials are concerned for her safety.

Deyke is described as being is 5’6’’ tall, weighing 120 pounds and having brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Deyke or knows where she may be is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department Major Crimes Unit at (757) 393-8536 or to submit an anonymous tip through the Portsmouth Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Tips may also be submitted via the P3Tips app or online here. Callers can also submit an anonymous tip through the Crime Line’s “P3 Tips” app or online.
