NORFOLK, Va. - A baby was born at the Norfolk International Airport Thursday afternoon after the mother arrived from her flight.
Norfolk Airport Authority received a call at 3:54 p.m. informing them that she had just given birth in a restroom in the arrivals terminal building. Both the Airport Fire Department and Norfolk Fire Rescue responded to the call.
The baby and mother were both transported to a local hospital by Norfolk Fire Rescue.
There is no further information at this time.
