WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The City of Williamsburg created a website for residents to search which local businesses are open during the coronavirus pandemic.
In an effort to support local businesses during this time, the city launched a website where customers can search based on their location to continue to buy local.
The site allows customers to search a local business map by name and business category.
City businesses are able to promote their products, services, and how they are selling their product.
“On their own, City businesses have found remarkably creative ways to market and sell to customers during this COVID-19 outbreak. We thank them for that and applaud their entrepreneurship, and we want to do all we can to help them maximize their reach through this website, while helping our residents maintain safe access to the products and services they need,” says Mayor Paul Freiling.
