CHESAPEAKE, Va. - To maximize staff availability and social distancing guidelines, the Chesapeake Health Department will offer limited clinic services for Family Planning, Immunizations, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and WIC by appointment only.
For customer convenience, CHD is also initiating pick-up and delivery curbside service for certain departments including WIC, Environmental Health and Vital Records.
WIC
WIC staff is available to answer all inquiries, including appointment details and benefit issuance. You are asked to call the Great Bridge office at (757) 382-8608 or the South Norfolk satellite office at (757) 382-2651.
BabyCare/WIC
All parenting classes - including nutrition, breastfeeding, car seat, safe sleep and childbirth - are suspended until further notice.
Vital Records

LTSS (Pre-admission Screenings)
Screenings are continuing for LTSS (PAS) waiver screenings via phone calls. We are not visiting homes at this time. Please call 382-8705 to set up an appointment.

The public is strongly encouraged to conduct as much business as possible online. Rabies investigations, restaurant inspections and on-site inspections will continue as normal.
