City of Portsmouth to provide complimentary, much-needed items during drive-thru event

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The City of Portsmouth wants its residents to know that it cares about them during these challenging times.

From 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, the city will hold a "We Care About You" drive-thru event, during which residents can stop by and pick up much-needed items free of charge.

Supplies include masks, toilet paper, diapers and more.

The drive-thru is made possible thanks to LaSelecta Radio 103.3 FM/1050 AM, the city and its sponsors.

You can pick up the items at the social services in the parking lot of the Portsmouth Social Services building located at 1701 High Street.
