The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Thursday there are now 39,481 cases, 812 people hospitalized and 1,064 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,310 new cases and 11 additional deaths from Wednesday.
A total of 572,677 completed COVID-19 tests have been reported.
Daily confirmed COVID-19 cases have been on the rise since June 9.
