The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Monday, there are now 87,528 cases, 1,040 people hospitalized and 1,510 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,827 new cases, 7 additional deaths, and 30 patients being discharged from the hospital from Sunday.
A total of 1,220,486 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
