North Carolina COVID-19 cases rise by 564 since Sunday, local cases make up 4.5% of state total rise

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 145,516 cases, 980 people hospitalized and 2,348 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 564 new cases, 46 additional hospitalizations and 1 additional death from Sunday.

A total of 1,935,472 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
