The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 175,815 cases, 831 people hospitalized and 2,889 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 1,561 new cases, 124 fewer hospitalizations and 50 more deaths from Friday.
A total of 2,410,871 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
