North Carolina reports 1,625 new COVID-19 cases in a day as Pasquotank Co., had most local daily increase

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 114,338 cases, 1,169 people hospitalized and 1,790 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 1,625 new cases and 5 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 1,635,476 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
