North Carolina reports 1,625 new COVID-19 cases in a day as Pasquotank Co., had most local daily increase

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 114,338 cases, 1,169 people hospitalized and 1,790 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 1,625 new cases and 5 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 1,635,476 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.

  • Bertie County 215 cases, 4 deaths (+1 case from Sunday)
  • Camden County 52 cases, 2 deaths (+0 cases from Sunday)
  • Chowan County 104 cases, 0 deaths (+4 cases from Sunday)
  • Currituck County 66 cases, 0 deaths (+1 cases from Sunday)
  • Dare County 177 cases, 1 death (+2 cases from Sunday)
  • Gates County 37 cases, 2 deaths (+0 cases from Sunday)
  • Hertford County 237 cases, 11 deaths (+3 cases from Sunday)
  • Northampton County 257 cases, 16 deaths (+1 case from Sunday)
  • Pasquotank County 305 cases, 17 deaths (+7 cases from Sunday)
