The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 235,597 cases, 1,140 people hospitalized and 3,882 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 1,865 new cases, 8 fewer hospitalizations and 18 additional deaths from Friday.
31 cases were reported in local areas, with Bertie County and Pasquotank County reporting 10 cases each. No deaths were reported locally for Saturday.
A total of 3,574,444 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
