North Carolina reports 1K new COVID-19 cases for the first time since July

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 1,227,735 PCR positive cases and 227,453 antigen positive cases, 1,896 people hospitalized and 17,575 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,374 new total cases and 39 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 18,676,661 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
