North Carolina reports 2.2K COVID-19 cases as state hospitalizations decrease

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Thursday, there are now 1,252,944 PCR positive cases and 234,712 antigen positive cases, 1,173 people hospitalized and 18,211 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,201 new total cases and 20 additional deaths from Wednesday.

A total of 19,339,595 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
