North Carolina reports 2,541 new COVID-19 cases; Hertford Co. reports highest local increase of 8 cases, 2 deaths

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Sunday, there are now 737,992 PCR positive cases and 104,645 antigen positive cases, 1,647 people hospitalized and 10,926 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,541 new total cases and 30 additional deaths from Saturday.

A total of 9,926,578 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
