North Carolina reports 4,212 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours as state sees record high hospitalizations

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Wednesday there are now 327,379 PCR positive cases and 19,127 antigen positive cases, totaling 346,506 total positive cases.

1,811 people are being hospitalized for COVID-19 and there have been 5,138 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 4,212 new total cases and 64 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 5,065,442 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
