North Carolina reports 4,568 new COVID-19 cases; Pasquotank Co. reports highest local case increase

he North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Thursday, there are now 714,012 PCR positive cases and 96,454 antigen positive cases, 2,185 people hospitalized and 10,294 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 4,568 new COVID-19 total cases and 113 additional deaths from Wednesday.

A total of 9,447,619 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

As of February 11, North Carolina has vaccinated 1,554,378 people, with 1,406,407 people now vaccinated with at least one dose by NC providers and 147,971 people in federal long-term care program vaccinated with at least one dose.
