North Carolina reports 6,811 new COVID-19 cases; State hospitalizations fall to 3,862

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Sunday, there are now 609,633 PCR positive cases and 65,004 antigen positive cases, 3,862 people hospitalized and 8,083 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 6,811 new total cases and 67 additional deaths from Saturday.

A total of 8,022,425 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
