The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Monday, there are now 45,102 cases, 797 people hospitalized and 1,118 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 983 new cases and 9 additional deaths from Sunday.
A total of 638,479 people in North Carolina have now been tested. 11,349 new tests were counted in Monday's total.
North Carolina saw a 5-day streak of 1,000 cases last week and continues to report nearly the same amount on Monday.
