North Carolina reports highest rise in hospitalizations, 488 additional COVID-19 cases

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Wednesday, there are now 24,628 cases, 702 people currently hospitalized and 794 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 488 new cases and 28 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 364,156 people in North Carolina have now been tested.

100 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases.
