The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Friday, there are now 151,912 cases, 1,015 people hospitalized and 2,465 COVID-19 related deaths. Our viewing area saw 48 new cases and 1 new death.
That is 2,008 new cases, 8 fewer hospitalizations and 29 additional deaths from Thursday.
A total of 2,030,885 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
