The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Friday, June 12, there have now been 41,249 cases, there are 760 people hospitalized and 1,092 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,768 new cases and 28 additional deaths from Thursday.
According to the NCDHHS daily report, Thursday counted a total of 572,677 tests being administered.
On Friday, that count went up by 23,020 tests, making the total 595,697.
