The Virginia Department of Health released their daily updated numbers involving coronavirus cases within the state.
According to their website, there are now 78,375 total cases, 75,415 of which are confirmed and 2,960 are probable.
There are 2,031 total coronavirus related deaths, with 1,927 being confirmed and 104 being probable.
The case numbers are up by 945, and deaths are up by 4 since Sunday. Hampton Roads alone saw 449 cases, 15 additional hospitalizations and reported 2 deaths from Sunday.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association also updated their numbers. As of Monday, there are 743 people currently being hospitalized for coronavirus. There are 415 people currently receiving inpatient hospital care whose test results are pending. 265 confirmed positive patients, and those whose test results are pending, are currently hospitalized in the ICU.
125 hospital patients, both confirmed for coronavirus, and those with test results pending, are currently on a ventilator. 613 ventilators are being used in hospitals out of the 3,051 in the state - that's 20% usage.
10,107 patients who have been hospitalized for coronavirus have been discharged.
