Man dead after being shot in Portsmouth, police investigating

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Portsmouth Police said Saturday afternoon they're investigating a homicide after a man was found.

According to police, this is near the intersection of South Street and Green Street.

Officers said the man was found with a deadly gunshot wound. It's unclear when officers were called to the scene or when the man was found.
