Suspect robs Hampton auto loan business at gunpoint, police say

HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton Police are looking for the person they say robbed a Fast Auto Loan at gunpoint in late February.

Around 3:50 p.m. on February 29, dispatchers received a call of a robbery that had just happened at the Fast Auto Loan in the 1900 block of Armistead Avenue.

An investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business, pulled out a gun and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male who is approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing all-black clothing.
