CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Dominion Energy reports nearly 3,000 power outages in the City of Chesapeake Sunday evening.
According to Dominion Energy's outage map, 1,982 customers are currently experiencing outages as of 8:30 p.m., in the Bowers Hill area. The cause of the outage is currently being investigated.
Dominion also reports that as of 8:30 p.m., 807 customers are experiencing outages due to power line damage.

Crews are currently working to restore power and gives an estimated time of 9 p.m., to 12 a.m., for outages to be fixed.
