VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - COVID-19 has made things scary this year, but that didn't stop one local church from helping the community have fun this Halloween!

Wave Church held a drive-thru "Trunk or Treat" event in Virginia Beach on Saturday. People from the community dressed up in creative costumes, decorated the trunks of their vehicles and drove through the church's maze of cute Halloween décor.

Hundreds of volunteers also decorated their cars or helped direct cars through the drive-thru.

Each car that participated received a big bag of candy for every child in the vehicle.
