News 3's Holiday Helpers campaign returned during these uncertain times and helped families in local shelters.
We took donations starting on November 27 and through December 13.
On December 2 News 3 also hosted a special phone bank.
All the money raised benefits ForKids Virginia and other local charities.
In total, our viewers donated about $14,000 to help local families in need, thank you!
Sponsors helping make this campaign a reality included Southern Bank, Esprit Décor and One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning. Esprit Décor donated $1,000 to the campaign.
