PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man died Friday as a result of a shooting on the intersection of Frederick Blvd and High Street, according to Portsmouth police. Officers arrived to the scene around 2:45 p.m. and found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, who was later identified as 40-year-old Robert James, was later transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
