VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Athletic conditioning workouts at Kempsville High School have been suspended due to a positive COVID-19 test, according to a spokesperson with Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
According to Sondra Woodward, Kempsville athletes were cleared by the division's head nurse to return to conditioning immediately.
Kempsville's coaches and division administrators decided to suspend conditioning for two weeks.
The school system did not specify if an athlete or faculty member tested positive.
