PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A man has serious injuries following a shooting in Portsmouth.
A spokeswoman for the Portsmouth Police Department tells News 3 the call for the shooting came in just after 8 p.m. Sunday on High Street.
Officers found a man who had been shot in the torso. Medics took him to the hospital, where he's being treated for serious injuries.
Police have not released any suspect information in this case.
The man is at least the third person to be shot in Portsmouth in less than a three hour time span Sunday.
Earlier in the evening a man was killed in a shooting on Cherokee Road. Minutes later another man walked into Maryview Hospital with a gunshot wound. Police have not said where in the city that man was shot.
