Man wanted after failing to appear in court for charges connected to truck driving through Oceanfront protest crowd

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are seeking the public's help in locating a man after he failed to appear in court Tuesday morning for charges connected to a truck driving through a crowd of protesters.

20-year-old Emanuel William Wilder was arrested after video showed his truck driving through an Oceanfront protest crowd and is now wanted for not appearing in court Tuesday.

In the 25-second clip, a shirtless white male is seen in a disputation with people in the first half of the video. In the second half of the video, the same man is shown driving the truck down the street while people rushed to safety.

Wilder's charges include disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, abusive language and reckless driving for the May 31 incident.
