Man wanted in connection to Suffolk homicide also wanted for 2 shootings in 2020

SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Police is searching for a man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting.

Police say a shooting took place Saturday in the 600 block of East Washington Street around 12:07 a.m.

When police arrived to the scene, they found a man, identified as 25-year-old Diamonta Christopher Price, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Price's injuries were determined to be life-threatening, and he was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died of his injuries.

According to police, 25-year-old Keishon Robinson, of Suffolk, is wanted in connection to the homicide. Robinson is also wanted on multiple felony charges including possession of a firearm by a felon, attempted aggravated assault and discharging a firearm at an occupied vehicle in connection with two separate shootings on East Washington Street in July and August of 2020.

Police say the July 2020 shooting took place in the 1100 block of East Washington Street around 1:30 p.m. on July 24. The second shooting occurred in the 300 block of East Washington Street around midnight on August 28, 2020. According to officials, there were no injuries but multiple vehicles were shot at in both incidents.

Police say the homicide from Saturday is unrelated to the two shooting incidents from 2020.
