NORFOLK, Va. - A local marketing team is taking action and getting results for the children of St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
This year’s virtual 5k walk/run was a major financial win for the kids battling cancer.
In total, Reed and Associates raised more than $149,000 over the life of their decade-long partnership with the research hospital.
Employees were offered incentives to meet their fundraising goals, including paid days off and dollar for dollar matching.
This year, during COVID-19 the team celebrated its highest fundraising year to date. They raised more than $23,000 and beat last year’s record.
Ashley Knepper said they are inspired by the work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The marketing team credits their relationship with Window World for connecting them to the cause.
As an extra added feather in their cap, for seven years in a row, Reed and Associates has bragging rights of being the top fundraiser in Hampton Roads.
