NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Fire-Rescue is on the scene of a house fire on Spartan Avenue Saturday afternoon.
According to fire officials, crews arrived at the scene in the 7000 block of Spartan Avenue around 2 p.m.
A second alarm assignment was dispatched to help combat the high heat index of the afternoon temperatures, officials say.

Officials say no injuries have been reported.
Its cause remains under investigation.
