NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk mother and actress Tiffany Cotton is helping people all over the world get some comic relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her hilarious sketches about our stay-at-home struggles have been viewed more than a million times on social media – and counting.

“It's humbling,” said Cotton. “If I can create laughter instead of sadness or pain […] to allow people to escape, even if it's just for a minute, I'm grateful.”

Cotton’s videos shine a comedic light on her family’s new normal in the age of coronavirus lockdowns. Her husband and photographer, Marquis Cotton, who is also a longtime News 3 production technician, helps her bring the videos to life.

“I love our creative chemistry,” she said.

Cotton and her husband started creating and sharing their sketches on social media in March 2017. Their popular sketches have been viewed nearly 14,000,000 times to date.

“People are clicking. People are watching. People are sharing. I'm so grateful,” she said.
