NORFOLK, Va. - A 25-year-old woman hit in a hit and run crash has died.
Norfolk Police Department says it responded to a hit and run in the 800 block of W. Brambleton Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Sunday morning.
That's near the intersection with Colley Avenue, feet away from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Police say the woman, identified as Alexis S. Hicks, of Chesapeake, was taken to Sentara with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to them.
