NORFOLK, Va. - Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Sunday night.
The single vehicle crash happened in the 9700 block of Chesapeake Blvd. The call about the crash was placed around 9:30 p.m.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced decease on-scene, according to police. The driver has been identified as 31-year-old Scott M. Haney.
This investigation is still ongoing; however, officials believe speed was a contributing factor.
