NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man who they say tried to rob a local Family Dollar at gunpoint last month.
On January 19 around 8 a.m., police say a man with a gun entered the Family Dollar located at 2010 Cromwell Drive and demanded money.
While the store clerk was trying to comply, the man fled the store.
No injuries were reported.
Surveillance photos of the suspect shows the man wearing an Aeropostale hoodie and a blue shirt. At one point, he had a mask over the lower half of his face.
