NORFOLK, Va. - If you are 70 years old or older, you no longer have to serve Jury Duty in the city of Norfolk.
In a tweet from the Norfolk Circuit Court Clerks Office, it states that all you have to do is call them to confirm your age.
Once you've confirmed your age with the Clerks Office, you are permanently excused from Jury Duty.
You can contact them by calling (757)-769-8539.
If you live in Norfolk and are over 70 years old and do not want to serve on Jury Duty, you may be permanently excused. Just give us a call, confirm your date of birth and we will excuse you.
