Watch: Gov. Roy Cooper updates N.C. as coronavirus cases rise over 3K, 46 deaths

North Carolina's coronavirus cases have risen a bove 3,000 as of Tuesday morning.

The state now has 3,221 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 46 deaths from the virus.

There are also currently 354 people hospitalized.

The North Carolina Department of Health site says the 25-49 year old age range has the most confirmed cases in the state as of Tuesday morning at 42%.

The most deaths from coronavirus have been in the 65+ age range at 80%.
