NORTH CAROLINA - Gov. Roy Cooper's conference on Sunday regarding North Carolina's coronavirus response has been canceled.

Though Cooper did not give an update, N.C. Department of Health and Human Services has listed 297 cases confirmed on their website.

Gov. Roy Cooper is set to give an update Monday.

The department's website also states that 8,438 people have been tested and that there are still zero deaths in the state.

On Saturday, Gov. Cooper increased access to childcare so healthcare workers and essential personnel could have flexibility while responding to coronavirus. The order also loosened trucking restrictions so critical resources can quickly get to all 100 counties.
