The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 85,701 cases, 1,070 people hospitalized and 1,503 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,908 new cases and 4 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 1,199,575 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
