North Carolina reports 626 new coronavirus cases; rolling average falling after spike at end of May

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 29,889 cases, 716 people hospitalized and 921 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 626 new cases and 23 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 434,921 people in North Carolina have now been tested.

99 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases.
