Virginia's coronavirus case numbers have been on the rise, but so have the number of patients who have been hospitalized and discharged after testing positive for the virus.
As of Thursday morning, 951COVID-19 patients have been hospitalized and discharged, according to the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association.
The combined number of confirmed positive COVID-19 patients who are currently hospitalized, and hospitalized patients whose COVID-19 test results are pending is currently at 1,337.
Virginia has a total of 6,889 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 208 virus-related deaths, as of Thursday morning. From Wednesday to Thursday case numbers rose by 389 in Virginia and there were 13 more coronavirus-related deaths.
