SUFFOLK, Va. - A three-vehicle crash in the 1400 block of N. Main Street landed one person in the hospital Tuesday evening.
Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the crash at 6:48 p.m.
Officials say one of the vehicles involved in the crash entered the intersection and hit the two other vehicles.
After Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel gave one driver assessment and treatment, this driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As of 8:45 p.m., the road is still closed and traffic is being detoured. Police say the road is expected to be reopened in about 30 minutes.
The crash is still under investigation.
