FRANKLIN, Va. — Franklin Police and units with Franklin Fire & Rescue have given the all-clear after a "suspicious item" was found at the Franklin Police Department headquarters Monday evening.
Police say the situation has been cleared. They did not elaborate on what exactly the item was.
Authorities initially asked those in the area to stay away from the police station until further notice.
There is no further information.
