Police: Man hospitalized following Norfolk shooting

NORFOLK, Va. - A man was left with non-life threatening injuries after a shooting on Lafayette Boulevard Friday morning, according to the Norfolk Police Department.

According to police, the call came in at 11:45 a.m. When officers arrived to the scene at Lafayette Boulevard and Peronne Avenue, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not named a suspect or motive in this shooting.
