Portsmouth Detectives search for man wanted for larceny

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Detectives with the Portsmouth Police are asking the public for help identifying a larceny suspect.

On Friday, November 6, at 9:30 p.m. police say the suspect entered the Happy Mini Mart located at 3300 Victory Boulevard.

According to officials he then tampered with an electric gambling table and took an undisclosed amount of money.

The business owner noticed the man came back the next day and tried to steal from the same machine.

Detectives were able to acquire security footage from the store of the suspect.
